Hi everyone, so about a month ago i bought a Green and Golden Bell froglet from a pet store. I bought him home and kept him in the same water from the store. They store owner told me they feed them fish food, but I thought this was odd so fed him boiled lettuce like i have with previous tadpole/froglets. He didn't seem to like this, so i reluctantly tried the fish food. He didn't eat this either but none the less turned into a frog after about a week. He's been a frog for almost four weeks now and hasn't eaten a thing! His beautiful emerald green coloured skin is starting to get very dark and he looks so skinny! I don't understand why he wont eat and don't know how to help him! He's still very small, about the size of a thumb nail, so i can't really force feed him. Help!
Hello and welcome to FF! What are you offering for food? At that size they should eat wingless fruit flies and pinhead crickets. More information on their care in here: Frog Forum - Green and Golden Bell Frogs (Litoria aurea) .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
