Hi all,
I'm planning to set up a new terrarium for a white's tree frog. Right now I plan to have the bottom either entirely water (with rocks/logs etc.) or half water/half land, which would leave the substrate wet at all times. With this set up would there also be a need for some sort of mister or fogger to maintain humidity or should the damp substrate/water be enough? I plan to have the terrarium planted heavily, which will also retain some moisture.
White's will do OK with 50 to 65% humidity and they need a basking spot with 85F (30C). Think they will do OK as long as ventilation in enclosure is good.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
