I was thinking about getting an African bullfrog. There is only one problem. I can't keep roaches in my house, and I think crickets won't be enough for an adult male frog. Could I use the pacman frog food as a stable diet for a full grown adult male? I can get a 10oz container if the pacman frog food. I'm not sure how long that wools last. What are your opinions?
You can use red worms and nightcrawler as a staple. My pixie love them they are easy to keep in the fridge. I havent tried the pacman food with my frogs yet
Some frogs will not eat Pacman food or similar products. You can raise a Pixie on crickets and night crawlers; just be aware it will be expensive. Do not buy Red Wrigglers; they have a foul tasting slime.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Carlos is correct.
Most Pyxi Frogs aren't too picky though and if your frog is a very aggressive eater and will take from tongs then it will most likely accept Pacman food. All you can do is try.
