As Colleen/Jerrod stated, coloring is not a reliable sex indicator. Neither are a pointy (or lack of) nose or the presence or absence of a stripe in the back. An experienced breeder/keeper can use many cues to help make pretty accurate determinations; specially if frog is available for examination. Still, there are cases at this forum when almost everyone thought female and it turned out a late blooming male. My recommendation is to enjoy your frog and take good care of it. They grow very fast and will know soon if male or female .
