Young RETF and his food

In my aquarium I have coconut husk layed down with sphagnum moss on top. There is a small area in which I have water that is pumped to make rain. Im wondering if he will have trouble finding his food. I just got him and this is his second night. The first night he ate his food as soon as i dropped it in. Today I put in 3 crickets probably 1/4 inch in size because he is not ready to eat. Just dont want the little guy to starve if he cant get to them. Not sure how good the hunting skills are in young captive breed frogs....

They will find their food. A trick that I use is to put a small candy bowl in the back corner of the tank hidden by some plants. I feed from the other end of the tank. As the crickets move around they get eaten. If they don't get eaten they find their way into the bowl and can't climb back out. The frogs know where to find them if they want one. The next time I feed I dump the bowl of crickets back into the cricket tub to re-gutload. Helps keep the enclosure clean and no crickets running all over my frogs while they are sleeping.
