Some of you might remember little Buddah, he was my friend Leen's frog, the one who would never eat or poop.
About 3 weeks ago, Buddah din'd eat for 2 months straight, he had never been tong fed, my friend tried on several occasions, but with no luck.
She called in my help, I went over there and had the little guy eating in less then two minutes. I fed him twice that week, with the only thing he would accept, locusts.
Leen had a talk with me and asked me if I was willing to take over the care of Buddah, since she is exausted worrying about him and couldn't get him to eat or poop on a normal schedule.
Since Buddah moved here, he has eaten every wednesday and sunday, pooped twice, even eaten cockroaches and a mouse! At first he kept spitting it out, so I tryed a smaller mouse and he took that willingly. So I think he was a little scared of the size, eventhough it wass the right size for him.
I'm working on getting him more adapted to tongs right now, he's still stubborn when it comes to feeding, but compared to some of my other frogs, I find him pretty easy going.
He only eats about two prey items each sitting, most of my males eat 3-5 items and my females are around 8-16. I'm wondering if his appetite can still increase when he is a little more used to his regular feedings.
He has always been a very difficult eater and luckely he has no signs of MBD, yet his growth seems to be stunted. He is without a doubt my smallest male. He is a little over 2.5", while I have one male slightly over 3.5", one at 3.2 and two others that are around 3"-3.1".
I have to say I enjoy feeding him, when he is full, he actually squeaks at me to stop, wich is simply adorable.
He seems to be happy now, he always burrows next to the lying plant or even under it, and he finally got to escape from that high traffic area into a virtually no traffic area.
I have to say, he's a pretty frequent croaker and my males are croaking more often now because of him.
Eventhough it wassn't planned, this is my ninth frog and my final one, my frog condo's will be filled when my ornates grow up.

Good that he is eating with you!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
