Flooded drainage layer help!

Thanks Carlos.So can i get a PVC tube and a cap and stick it into the drainage layer before building and so when ever i need the water out i can pop of the cap and siphon it out?Im using a tank that is 14x8x10 that i got from lllreptile,i thought it can hold water but i guess not.Also ive been reading about making a pond that connects to the drainage layer so whenever the drainage layer fills up i can just siphon it out?How does that work?

A PVC tube will work too; just remember it needs to reach all the way to the bottom and myself would drill a few holes around it, to the height of tank's drainage layer. A sponge around it will help prevent holes from clogging.

Not sure understand about the pond set-up you describe, unless it's something like this: Frog Forum - Building Dart Frog Terrariums / Tropical Terrarium Construction. If so, that will work too; but only in a non-leaking tank .

Yes justlike that.Im planning on doing this all on my 20h vert(waiting on the junglebox vert kit)do you think it will be easier just to go with the PVC method or with the pond like in the link that you posted?btw do you happen to know how long junglebox takes to ship their kits?i ordered mine on Thursday:/
