Just an update; as usual Grif was spot on with his web diagnosis!

Don't know where my little guy picked up the parasites but the vet confirmed he had them and prescribed metronidazole and panacur.

Fergie is usually an easygoing frog when it comes to being handled but he did not like that vet lol. As soon as she reached for him he started screaming his little head off... I guess the stress of the trip and a stranger reaching for him was just too overwhelming.

The vet was awesome though, I'm glad I found her. She was super excited to see a Pacman. And while my wallet didn't enjoy the trip I'm glad to have some peace of mind.

Yep! Like most other animals frog also hate going to the Vet and they will remember the Vet as well. Ours recognize our Vet's voice and immediately go into defensive posture.
