I have a Zoo Med HygroTherm that controls my humidity so that it does not drop below 83%. Should I still be spray misting my frogs daily?
Also, I keep reading online different humidity levels to keep my frogs at. I have red eyed tree frogs and a tiger leg monkey in another tank. What is the proper humidity level to keep the frogs comfortable but at the same time minimize the growth of harmful bacteria?
I always go with around 75% humidity with excellent ventilation. I know that with many Hylidae and Rhacophorinae if their is poor circulation their health will be compensated. Also if the humidity is kept that high, you don't need to mist as well.
