I have had 2 red eyed tree frogs for just under a year now (male and female) and I am now wanting to buy 2 amazon milk tree frogs. I was just wondering if they have the same needs for the same tank or if I will have to put them in a different tank? Pleas help me understand.
Although they have similar needs in regards to temperature and humidity; the Amazon Milk frogs will grow large enough to present a clear and present danger to the smaller RETFs. Also, many frogs have skin toxins that present a problem to other species within a limited enclosure. Recommend keep frog species apart to avoid any possible issues.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Omg lol I just noticed I made a mistake in the title of this thread it was suppose to be red eye and milkeys
