    Default Hi there!

    Afternoon (or morning) all,

Thought I should just say a quick hello before I dig around the forums (even more). I'm a complete beginner, getting my terrarium on Saturday and am very excited to get going! I'm going to keep a group of 4 Bumblebee Leucomelas in a 60x45x60cm Exo-Terra Terrarium. I've done a fair bit of research and the guys at my local reptile centre seem very knowledgeable when it comes to Darts.

Is it true that I will need to get a sheet of glass to block off the mesh? The guys in the shop said it's not really necessary?

    Thanks!

Hello and welcome to FF ! Well; you got the correct height (60 cm.) terrarium, so that is good. However, with all the top screen area, plus the front to back cross venting in a 60x45 cm. enclosure, how will you get the high humidity levels required without blocking the top screens with glass? Think your local reptile guys are not right on that one .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Thanks guys. Carlos, I agree. There is a glass cutter local to me so ill pop in there. Would it need to be square, or would I need indents cut out for fans? Im in the uk and it doesn't get particularly warm...not sure I'd need to cool it down...

Sorry, another question. Would I get it cut to just before the lighting canopy, or all the way across? Thanks in advance.
