    Default Red leg contagious

    My grey recently got red leg as I was cleaning their tank I found out so I took him out and put it desperate from the other anyways I washed my hands with soap after I picked him up when up stairs came back down misted my hands with declorified water and picked up my red eye male ugggg I'm so stupid for doing this even though I washed my hands I'm still not sure weather he will be okay or not even when I'm trying to breed him do u guys think hell bee okay? I'm kinda stressed right now

    ps. The water I misted my hands with was disinfected with reptisafe and children's pidia light

    Hello Anthony ! If you washed your hands with soap and water it should be OK. Red leg is bacterial in origin and does not become a problem unless frog is chronically stressed; it's immune system is compromised; or frog is exposed to poor husbandry that does not meet it's requirements.
    Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !​
