Hi guys,
This post might well be related to my other post ‘skinny milk frog help please’ but I’ve just found a worm wiggling down the glass of my Amazon Milk Frog tank. It was what I think is a thread worm, white, extremely thin (less than a mm) and about a cm long.
Tomorrow I intend to clear the tank and boil what I can whilst throwing out everything else and giving it a good clean out.
I have read that Panacur is what it used as a wormer, my question is how is it administered? And in the UK is this something that can be bought instore or is it prescribed?
Would I be right in thinking that the worms have been caught from the crickets I’m feeding them? And in which case is it possible to give wormer to crickets or is it more effective to just worm the frogs periodically.
I’m going to pop into my local vets asap but I have a sneaky suspicion that they have never even heard of a tree frog let alone how to treat it! People like furry stuff around these parts :P
Thanks in advance!
