    The most wanted frog of the pampas land, it is increasingly rare to find. Video recorded the 8th of February 2014. vocalizing male. Video filmed by conservation group in which I participate. Enjoy.

    Its really nice to see one waiting for a mate in the wild. I see its in a flooded grassland.

    nice vid . have to admit..didnt think the ornata would sound like that. ugh now i want some green ones

    Thanks for sharing. So far none of mine have made a peep. I know Tuko is a female since she is over a year and a half old and silent and big. The other two are saying yet what they are. At least I know what to listen for now!

    Most frog calls are loud and high pitched. Even some of the large frogs such as these. The American Bullfrog and Giant African Bullfrog both have deep low calls.
