So I'm taking my fire belly toad, Pip, to the vet for the first time just to check him up and to ask some questions (and because the vet clinic had coupons for free first visits). I'm planning on getting something along the lines of a bug carrier (assuming that they're in stock), or a tupperware container with holes in it to actually carry him, I just have some other questions about actually getting him there and making sure he stays healthy. It's about 20 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I'll propably turn the heat on in my car, but it will still be fairly chilly. Any tips on keeping him warm? Should put a little bit of water in the bottom to keep the humidity up? Thanks for your help! Live long and prosper!
