Default Is an indandescent good enough spectrum for plants

and im mainly talking about pothos because iv noticed some of the cuttings in the windows are doing better then the two in with my pyx. its also January and theres lots of indirect light in the windows which they like but once its sunny ill probably move all my plants. what kind of a light should I add with the incandescent to the pyxies tank that will be a better spectrum to help these pothos. thanks

There's no incandescent that will really grow plants. But you can use a cfl in an incandescent base. You want a bulb that is in the 6500k color temp range. It doesn't have to be an exoterra bulb or anything like that. Off the shelf from Walmart or Home Depot will do. Just check the packages for the color temperature.

Yes. The cfl gives off a little heat, but not much. So it should not raise temps that much.

This store can provide you with lamps that will let your plants grow. Overhere they use them for growing cannabis sativa.

    Led grow lights
