They're not so bad to keep. Climate is very close to Horned Frog climates. They do eat a ton up until they are about 7 or 8 months old then they tend to become a little laid back and sleep a lot. Especially in the winter. I just think it's interesting how they start out as babies no bigger than a quarter and grow up into these lumbering green giants.

That is a good pic for a celphone to catch. If you look close you can see a mouse tail sticking out of his mouth. Its hard to get pics of him eating them because they are gone in one or two bites. Tried to give him some Night Crawlers, but he was in the mood for a mouse. Oh and his head is huge Lol!

I haven't weighed him lately. He is only a little over 6.5". Last time I weighed him he was just over a pound, but thats been about 3 or 4 months ago. I'll try and get a new weight for him in the next day or so.

Well I tried to weigh him and he wasn't having it Lol! He just wanted to go back home. Hes a big baby sometimes. I'll try again soon.

Well finally got Günther to let me weigh him. He weighs 937 grams which is 2.065 pounds. Thats a good weight to me Lol!

Note that this weight is without water weight.
