    Default CBB cornuta questions

I was browsing the Kingsnake.com classifieds, and there's a few vendors selling CBB C. cornuta. I'd like to get one when the weather warms up, and so I wanted to ask-are there any special aspects of keeping CBB cornuta that I should know about before I consider getting one?

They are a challenge to keep; although have read that the CBB are easier to get feeding. In the wild, Cornutas feed mostly on other frogs, which presents a challenge to the average keeper. Some have been fed on silversides and night crawlers plus the occasional mouse. Also; wild caught animals are usually loaded with internal parasites and possibly exposed to Chytrid fungus.

My recommendation is to contact the seller and find out what are his CBB Cornutas feeding on. That way you can be prepared for them and have their food ready. Also, check vendor's reputation in the testimonials area and at Fauna Classified's. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

If you are talking about Reptile Pets Direct I ordered on of there cornuta so but learned short after he/she is being kept on distilled water But apparently are feeding great on earthworm sections. I have received pictures of my frog but am going to request another before it ships just to make sure it's healthy, if not I'm canceling as much as it pains me to do so

Now I'm debating whether I want to get an ornata or a cornuta. Or a pyxie, but then again I don't want to have a female pyxie. The struggle is real, my friends.

I totally understand your struggle. Actually I'm quite comforting to see your list consists of only three candidates. Personally I'd go with an Ornata but I have never owned a Pyxie so I can't comment on that. I do prefer the looks of a horned frog, however.
