White's Tree Frog help! (Sleeping in Water Dish)

Im no expert but my whites tree frogs do the same thing sometimes and i think its because the humidity goes down during the day because of the heat light and the just want to be hydrated. I think you should leave the frog in there if the humidity wont stay up. Hope i helped

My female hangs out for hours in the water dish, frog just being frog.

As long as the water is frog acceptable (i.e. dechlorinated tap), think it should be no cause of alarm . Did you quarantine the female and got negative fecals on both frogs before placing together?
