every time I feed it now it seems to eat fine like he had 6 today but once he eats it looks like it struggles swallowing and closes its eyes it does it about 4 times on each cricket, here is the vid he does it twice near the end but once he goes back fine again after a few times like now its happy just sitting there half buried video 2014 01 19 17 38 55 - YouTube

Don't worry, it is just swallowing.

Sometimes my frog uses a weird pose to swallow.
He points his head all the way up in the air and arches his back downward.
Looks so weird.

That's right, when you see them retracting their eyes, they are swallowing and forcing the food to go in to the stomach. Completely natural and nothing to worry about. And sitting there half buried or buried is what these frogs do best.

I do get pets with something wrong with them , 3 special need pets at moment but I love em all. 1 dog 1 tortoise 1 frog

I have a pacman with 3 legs, he only had a small part below the knee when he was young, now he has a part of the leg grown back and 3 little toes on it.
