Default I Should Have Checked For Correct Earthworms.

I fouled up big. I should have asked what are the correct earthworms to feed Horned Frogs. There was an interesting article in our local paper about local earthworms. The author doesn't believe the earthworms here are native to the area. Years ago I found an earthworm that was at least a foot long. I knew that wasn't native.

Most of the worms in the US are not native. The Native Giant American Earthworm was thought extinct, but have been found in small patches, but not in your area. The Earthworms in your area are most likely Canadian Night Crawlers. Which are actually European Earthworms.

Yeah, sounds like a large nightcrawler.
I think red wigglers are invasive too aren't they? They're everywhere around where I live.
