Unhappy My bullfrog escaped and was in cold weather overnight. Is he okay?

My bullfrog escaped his cage and the temperatures dropped to around 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit last night.

I found him this morning and put him back in his cage. It has now been around 14 hours since he went back into his warm cage. He's pale green, didn't burrow all the way, and he feels flat. Usually when I pick him up he feels like a big chunk of fat. Now he feels like a deflated balloon. \

    Is he okay?

Soak him in 80° F dechlorinated water and keep a close eye on him. He may be in a bit of shock.

How high did it have to jump?.... When mine was a baby i saw it jump pretty high out of the corner of my eye. it was because there was a moth trapped flying around in the enclosure. They sure can jump when they want to.

Things to consider are the distance from the enclosure height to the floor, since fall could have injured frog; cold exposure; and dehydration. If frog is not moving normally you might need to take to veterinary for x-rays.

For the cold just keep his enclosure warm within expected parameters.

To rehydrate, recommend give frog a daily 20 minute bath in a solution made of 90% 80F dechlorinated tap and 10% unflavored Pedialyte or similar baby electrolyte fluid. You can use a small critter keeper or a plastic bowl with holed up top filled to frog's chin level for bath. Good luck and let us know how frog progresses in following days .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Thanks for your help! I gave him/her a warm bath and everything seems fine. It hasn't eaten for a few days but I noticed he/she is shedding.
