What light would be OK with a pacman frog but still be able to grow plants. You know....without blinding him/her. He has a planted viva and has left all the plants alone so far and I would like to give them better light if possible without harming the frog. (is this thread better on the plant fourm or the pacman frog fourm?)
First thing is to check if your Pacman is an albino variety. If so; sorry but can't use any plant type bulbs.
If a regular pigmented frog; then you can use any light that peaks at around 6,500K. Recommend using low light requirement plants so that you don't make the enclosure too bright. Since plant bulbs are either fluorescent or LEDs; you might have to use additional heat sources if required. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Thanks I will try that
