    Default Fogger works too well.

I bought a nice fogger for my whites tree frog Freddy. He lives in an Exo terra 18-18-24. I bought the Reptifogger humidifier so I do not have to spray several times a day.

The problem: it works too well! The dry clean potting mix I put in two days ago is soaked. I thought its something I should leave on all the time. Its clear I can't! I will have a swimming pool on the floor of my tank soon. I have live plants in the tererrium. One is a bromeliad, the other I can't remember its name.

What can I do to remedy this? When I turn it off the humidity plummets. Thank you.

The fogger is just to maintain humidity levels. First thing is to buy a digital hygrometer. The analog dial type are garbage and are rarely accurate. Another thing to check is how much of your top is covered. If it is open screen, then you will never keep any humidity in. It will escape right out the open top.
