Hi guys! Forgive me if I managed to post this in the wrong place--I didn't see a place specific to pacman feeding, so I thought the "food" forum was my best bet. Let me know if I missed something.
Annnnyway. I just brought home my first pacman froggie, Mango. I'll be feeding night crawlers, and I wondered how much I should be feeding her (saying her till I know for sure, but I'm almost positive she's female) at a time. I've looked through several threads, and can't seem to find anything about how many of these worms I should feed at what size. Mango is about 1.5 (maybe 2ish) inches long and across, and the lady at the pet store said she'd been feeding the frog about 5-7 small crickets each day--dusted with calcium/vitamins daily. (I shouldn't dust food every day, right?)
I tried the night crawlers tonight, just in case she was hungry, and she ate two pieces (readily!) that were maybe 3 or so centimeters long each. Wouldn't eat more than that, but I assume it's because she's stressed from coming home. I wouldn't have bugged her with food at all, except that I was told at the petstore that she was easy going. Anyway, my biggest question is the amount of night crawlers she should be eating at once, after she gets settled in. And what size pieces I should cut them in?
Thank you so much for your help in advance!! I really appreciate it. I want my new friend to have the very best life possible!
EDIT: Woops, so sorry guys! The entire forum didn't load before, so I couldn't see the pacman area. My mistake.
