That's what I would be leaning towards. It's something I have never seen before
most definitely a bullfrog. You can tell by the black freckles around the body.

Definitely voting on an American Bullfrog (Rana Catesbeiana) here. If not, probably a similar species such as the Green Frog (Rana Clamitans).
Keeping a large Ranid such as an American Bullfrog will require a lot of work and money, along with a sizable tank for when the frog reaches adulthood. These frogs grow to the size of dinnerplates, and with an appetite to match. However, don't be discouraged by this; these frogs make fun, entertaining, comical, and unique pets.
If you want, I can give you a brief overview of how to care for an American Bullfrog, as well as the tadpoles/metamorphs. I keep two young adult male Bullfrogs myself.

ditto on american bullfrog tadpole. american bullfrog tads have pinpoint black spots while green frog tads have somewhat blotchy, larger black coloration that is not uniform small black dots. american bullfrogs tend also to have less coloration on the bottom half of the tail. i should comment that the body shape (seems like it has a flatter head) is actually more typical of a greenfrog tadpole.
Well, his/her coloration does appear strange, but that might just be the photo/camera. Nonetheless, I'm still voting on either an American Bullfrog or Green Frog. Keep us updated on him/her.
