Is it background plywood or as in driftwood?
Unfotunately, unless it is treated or waterlogged wood it will rot over time just not that fast but can depend on varying conditions

Cork bark used for most backgrounds won't rot. Slabs of driftwood type woods will resist rotting too, since it's used in aquariums underwater. When a vivarium is newly set-up it's normal for some fungi to cycle in and out as vivarium matures. You need to provide information as to source/type of wood for a more definite answer on it's durability in a high humid environment.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
thanks for the info! I went to a pet store close by and I think it is cork
