I have just set up a vivarium for my dart frogs but now I'm a little worried about my background rotting. I'm not sure what type of wood it is but it is very dry. I read online that rot is caused by a fungus and I read somewhere else that springtails will eat funguses so I thought maybe the springtails will prevent rotting? can someone validate this for me? I used expanding foam to attach the background so it would be difficult to replace it
