Hi all! Here in the next couple of months I plan on experimenting with poison dart frogs, specifically Phyllobates terribilis. I will not be harming them, so no worries there. I will probably have a 100 or 200 gallon tank, with misters, UVB, that sort of equipment I have bred frogs before, albeit not this species.
I had a few questions for the community here before I get started, is there anything I should know about their diet, or anything about this frog in particular that is different? Any information no matter how small is much appreciated.
Hello and welcome to FF! Here is all the information you need for their care: Frog Forum - Care & Breeding of the Golden Poison Frog, Phyllobates terribilis. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Welcome .
My advice...search through posts here and read lots. You'll be amazed at how much you can learn.
Get your vivarium set up first and proper. Remover to quarantine your frogs for at least 30 days to be sure they are healthy and ready to go into their viv.
Great frogs!
