Be Aware of Who You Have Take Care of Your Frog!

I may step on some toes saying this but. You really have to have someone that really cares and knows how to care for your frog. Some people just don't have it. They couldn't keep a pet rock alive. All the books I could find about horned frogs don't give a quarter of the information that the article here has about pacman frogs. If I recall only one of the books even mentions using Eco-Earth or similar material for the substrate. I could go on and on but I'll quit boring you.

Leaving home during trips or vacation includes coordinating responsible care for all pets. In the case of frogs; that includes someone that follows directions and can contact you for any issues; or an experienced frog keeper/professional . Other than that and you are taking a risk with your frog's health.

I may also "step on some toes" I believe sometimes it's better to simply re-home animals before leaving, then to return to a disaster.

I'm leaving my pacman for 3 days in February and have someone very experienced house sitting JUST to care for him, otherwise I just couldn't go away
