Feeding fish?

Does anyone feed fish? What types are ok and how often?
I'm planning to put together a semi aquatic terrarium and would like to have a few fish in it. I'm assuming the pixie will eat them sooner or later if I do. So, I also have a 5 gallon tank set up and ready to go that can be a holding tank so I can add/remove fish as needed. My own personal preference is mollies, but I'm thinking guppies or neon tetras are probably more likely to get left alone once my frog matures because they are so small, maybe it won't be worth the chase? Are there any small fish that I need to avoid? Is it a bad idea to incorporate fish into the enclosure?
