Well since I cant seem to get a hold of my herp vet any one know how i should go about a feeding schedule for my whites? He passed his blockage and has his appetite back he passed it on new years. i have 3/4 inch crickets and he's about 4inch long and he's pretty skinny. I have fed him some already but i am worried about him since he was blocked up. he seems ok, no throw up and seems fine. so how many should I be feeding him? go back to regular? or a little less than usual? i figure since he was sick maybe a little less?I am still doing a few pedialyte baths for him because he's skinny.
I would feed smaller crickets/less crickets /more often so he does not gorge himself.
NO meal worms !
Put an extra water dish in the enclosure ( de-chlorinated water only)
Have you been able to determine what may have cause the impaction.
Is there any moss in the enclosure.
What substrate do you use?
Do you think he would take red wrigglers or nigh crawlers; easier to digest.

No moss , the problem was that the crickets were getting to old i am guessing. he passed cricket exo skeletons chiten (sp) i use eco earth substrate so i am fine there and there is nothing in there big enough for him to swallow. he's doing very well. he is still in the hospital tank and doing well, no throw ups and pooping. =) i will try some worms in his diet thanks
