Default Pictures of my Vietnamese Blue Treefrog

I finally found my card reader, which means I can upload some pictures of Pogo. He's settled in really well, we've had him 3 weeks now and is an enthusiastic eater. he scared me a while back. I like to feed my frogs a dusted bug with tongs, to ensure that they get eaten and don't just lose their dust before they get gobbled up. Well, he grabbed a locust from the tongs but proceeded to swallow the tongs too! had to pull them quite hard to get them out! he's shown no ill effects though, so i'm guessing he's fine!

What a cutie! And I love his name-Pogo. I do the same things with my Pacific Chorus frogs-feed them a dusted cricket or two with tongs just to make sure they get what they need. They can get rather greedy and suck in one side of the tong, but mine never seem the worse for wear. Is Pogo full grown? I can't wait to see more pics of him.

Thanks Jace! We named him Pogo as he's a very active little frog. I think he is full grown, he was in the pet store for ages before we got him, and he looks no different. I actually suspect that 'he' is a 'she'. I've never heard her sing, but her cage mate in the pet store was very vocal
Can't help but refer to it as 'he' though.....

I automatically call frogs "he" too-not sure why. I did that with Obi for the longest time before John informed me I had a girl! Boy or girl, Pogo is beautiful. I don't know much about this species of frog, but yours looks mighty content. Now that you've found your card reader I hope to see lots of pics!! Hint hint!!

Thank you Kurt, I think so too
Also, does he look ok,weight wise? I'm used to my chubby White's, and he's teeny compared to them! I know they're not supposed to be as chunky, but does he look a bit lean to you guys?

He seems a little thin. Have you had him dewormed?
