    Default Is this setup ok?

Anno its made for a tree frog but suppose it cant hurt for a pacman frog hopefully an ornate one, if u scroll down it shows you what's included within the kit It does say calcium dust but I have already got multi-vitamins and calcium+d3 but is everything in that suitable and would I need to add (buy) anything else into the kit? thanks

Not sure if you were trying to link a website or not but there's nothing in your post describing or linking to any kits

It will work. Might be hard to heat since its so tall. You will need additional items. Also the temp and humidity readers it comes with are junk and probably won't give you accurate readings. Might be better off with the exo terra 12x12x12. Or the 12x12x15 I forget who makes that one.

Bark substrate will cause impaction if accidentally swallowed by your frog. Instead of that use eco earth or another coco fiber substrate.

The heat mat should be placed on the side of the tank instead of underneath as listed, Pacman frogs burrow to cool off so it won't understand why it can't get cool if the heat is coming from underneath.

The hygrometer listed is analog. You'll want a digital.

Finally, the tank shown is much taller than is really necessary. Pacs never leave the ground, so all that vertical space is just wasted.

Honestly you would probably be better off purchasing everything separately to ensure you get exactly what you want/need without extra/unnecessary items.

You're definitely on the right track shopping around to get your enclosure set up before you get your frog

thanks, I though it be a bit tall, and same about the substrate, I was looking at the 12x12x12 tank as Danfrog mentioned as more suitable but was looking at cheaper options I know that swell website the 12x12x12 on there is the cheapest around for the size at £35 (link:- Exo Terra Glass Terrarium 30x30x30cm | Swell Reptiles_ but if someone would kindly give a list of everything id need with that 12x12x12 tank I can price it all up thanks

This is pretty much what you need

    Exo terra 12x12x12
    Plantation soil(or similar)
    Water bowl
    Fake plants or hiding places
    Heat bulb(not bright)
    Exo terra canopy
    Digital thermometer and hygrometer.

It says not to put anything above 25 watts or something like that into the canopy but I have been using a 40 in it for over a year with no problems but it's better to be safe than sorry so maybe you shouldn't use a canopy.

This will work just fine. They are not hard to heat and actually maintain a good climate for the frog. I keep my males in 12"x12"x18" tanks.

yeah 26W I believe I have a duel canopy and each side says 26w max this is for a tank that has 2 baby emperor scorpions in but this 30cm (12in) one will be a single bulb holder so is the canopy pointless? and instead should I get a clamp lamp to sit on the top on a dimmer like I do for my scorpions? I had to get it online no electrical stores round me never heard them heres a link mercury Dimmer switch and im guessing a IR bulb is the only heat they will need? that kept at the right temp for day and night
