    Default Advice?

    Hello!

I am a college student studying Psychology currently, and i am noticing a lot of similarities between my whites tree frog, and someone with depression. examples being, lack of bathing (or interest in his skin when it sheds), lack of movement (he sits in one spot day and night, bottom left corner of the tank) my humidity and temp are fine ( i have a regulator for those ((Merry Christmas Horatio)) he eats very quickly, but is still eating and producing BM (i would venture to say he might be slightly constipated though...) so I guess i would like advice on any of these things:

    1. Do frogs become depressed? would company help him?
    2. do frogs get consipated, if so this is serious (yes?), how to prevent it (i mean i can't give him a prune)

    thanks everyone!

Your frog may be sensing the winter weather and or the difference in the light cycle of daylight to night
and is simply slowing down for winter.

do you feed a variety of feeders, do you dust and or gut load feeders and if you do what with and how often?

Hey there welcome aboard! I'm a psychology graduate as well. What do you major on?

As for frogs some like a small, loose group and some do well as pairs but some like it solo and yes frogs do get constipated and it is sometimes correlated to impaction as well. Constipation usually happens when frogs get an accumulated undigested food such as too much of something at the same time.
