    Default Le Bud!

Finally got a good picture of this guy and thought I'd share! I got him as a gift a few days ago, I've only seen him covered in his substrate until today. His coloring is pretty awesome! This dopey guy hasn't eaten in a couple of days though. The crickets were walking right past him and he couldn't be bothered. He must like whatever is on the outside of the tank.

To lessen stress is is a good idea to cover the sides and back with some kind go back ground.
I found that aquarium back ground looks great and does the job nicely.
also having the setup in a low traffic area helps too.

He could be a little stressed out from the move or change in environment.

You might want to see if he would like a night crawler.

He is big enough that you can feed him a few whole night crawler worms.
Trust me if he's full he will not eat any more.

You can get night crawlers at wall mart sporting goods section.
just make sure to open the container and check that the worms are in good shape and
    alive and sone what active.
even though they will be cold she should still move a good bit.

And as a once a month treat a pinky mouse. My 11 moth old male goes nuts for them.

Thanks! He actually scarfed down 5 crickets just after I posted this. Was having trouble getting temp and humidity right, so I am thinking he's finally comfortable. I think I will try giving him a worm this weekend though!

I was at 3 pet stores yesterday and still forgot to pick up the background. Will have to do that, too. I was going crazy trying to find the right lighting.. Apparently there was a recall this week on some of the ZooMed lamps.
