Why do you not directly mist a Pac Man frog?

I keep reading that distilled water is good for misting as it doesn't leave the tank spotty, but not so great for the frog because of the lack of minerals. Do you know which water is best to use? I read something on here earlier that was really informative about each different type of water, but can't figure out which is best for my buddy over here.

Tap water treated with a dechlorinating agent like Prime or RetiSafe for water dishes and expandijg the substrate. Distilled can be used for misting the tank to raise humidity.
