    You can use distilled for misting ONLY. For expanding substrate or in the water dish you need either bottled spring water or treated tap water. Distilled doesn't have any minerals in it, and can cause serious health problems for the frog.

    Everyone above is right, do not use distilled water for anything but misting or a fogger.

    It's ok I read up on some books before i went to the store today. (Allways a good idea) and I bought some bottled water and 1 gallon of distilled. I probably shouild have looked at frog forum to edit my last post in between. Sorry bout that. I promise I'm not going to kill my frog with lack of minerals. ~Michael
