Michael,
It depends on the use,

For hydration of substrate, water bowl or water feature in the enclosure.
Soaks for the frog,
Treated tap water with a high quality water treatment like Sea Chem prime. is the best for these uses.



Now for Foggers , misting the enclosure and not the frog directly. Distilled water is the preferred type since it will not leave spots on glass
and will not leave mineral deposits in foggers or misting systems.

In reality bottled water can't be trusted. Since you don't know 100% where it came from or what is in it.
I have learned that the hard way.
I used inexpensive bottled water to run my fogger but had a problem with minerals that were added.
