I am getting a heat lamp for my pacman frog. DON'T WORRY i am getting a low watt red bulb. can i leave the lamp on 24/7? Its for heat. Will the pacman be OK with it? ~michael

As long as the temps don't get too high it should be fine. I leave the red lights on 24/7 for mine because the ambient room temps aren't warm enough for them.

They don't see the red spectrum of light so they shouldn't even notice

Make sure to get a lamp with a dimmer switch. Here is the ones I use. Remember nothing over 40 watts. I used two lamps to heat my enclosures.

You can either use red lamps or ceramic heat emitters 24 hours a day. Do connect them to a controller (manual dimmer or auto thermostat) to dial in the required enclosure temperatures. Happy holidays !
