Default Can anyone near Berkshire in the UK offer a frog a home?

I've just seen this ACF on Preloved: Preloved | claw frog female for sale in Langley, Berkshire
The poor thing is so malnourished that its ribs are visible I hate the thought of it not selling and staying with its current owners, or of anyone buying it and following the care advice of the current owners. I am nowhere near or I would take the frog myself. The frog is in Langley, Berkshire. Can anyone help?

Poor frog is malnourished and they want the equivalent of $25 for it ? Should just let it go to someone who cares .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Can you do something like show them how to ship a frog and then have them ship it to you. I think Xenopus Express has a big section on that.

I looked into shipping them before when I bred them and I couldn't find a courier who would do it. Thanks, though. I'll look into it again a bit further because I really want to help this frog. I can't imagine how much the poor thing must be suffering

poor thing is probably beyond help. I see firebelly toadlets bully each other out of food and 1 becomes so emaciated that even with diligent feeding it never recovers. a young frog needs only a few days without food to be permanently damaged, but since this one is old enough to sex it may still have a chance. the people keeping her need to give her more food

I've just made things worse for the poor frog. I got the owner's address and reported her to the RSPCA (animal welfare charity). Today she messaged me saying that an officer has been round and no action has been taken because the frog is "in good health" :| That frog is not healthy by any stretch of the imagination. I can't imagine how the frog could be considered healthy even by someone who has never encountered the species before - her spine is visible through her stomach and her organs are protruding!
Despite the fact that the owner has been saying that the frog needs to be gone today for the past few weeks, she has now deleted her advert after the RSPCA visit, so the frog has no chance of being rescued now I just hope she will readvertise and someone in the area will take pity on the poor thing.
