help!!! Whites tree frog!

Hi 36 days ago my whites tree frog scratched his face a lot. I removed what he scratched it on and applied Betadine once a day for 2 days after it happened to prevent infection. It is still there now and hasn't changed. it could be bruising? Probably not because it would bruise within 10min of him "rubbing" his face. It's hard to get a photo of the scratches on his face because the lighting isn't to good. But whenever I take him into a room with more light he goes dark green to brown and you can't see the scratches in a picture. I will try anything to get them to go as I HATE scratches on anything, I still love him a lot but hate the scratches on his face. Thanks for any help
