As a child I had enjoyed playing with frogs toads and tadpolls etc.
Sense I was a kid, my favorite animal had always been frogs. for my 4th b-day, my mom gave my a grow-a-frog tadpole. A year later, we wanted another, so we ordered one, but they accidentally sent us two. When I was 10 years old, we were at the pet store, picking up fish for my moms fish tank, when I saw the fire belly toads. I begged, and begged, and she finally gave in.
Now, six years later, I still have the three same african clawed frogs, plus two more, 2 fire belly toads, about 15 green frog tads, and three african clawed frog eggs, that I just scooped out of their tank earlier today.
I have a large pond in my back yard, so on summer nights, I always love walking through my wet grass. As you walk, spring peepers hop onto your legs, and little toads hop out in front of you. My house is in the middle of the woods, so we are basically surrounded by nature. I'm hoping (or hopping lol) to meet other frog obsessed people like me!

I too live in the woods and have a pond. Lots of frogs around here. Also have snakes, lizards, and turtles which I also love. The place I live now used to be my great grandparents. I used to stay here a lot as a child. My favorite thing to do was catch frogs, salamanders and newts in the pond. My grandmother even attached a cooking pot to a broom stick, so that I could scoop tadpoles out to look at.
I too tried the grow a tadpole. But I never did get my tadpole in the mail. So, I just got my own tadpoles out of the pond to grow. I always released them once they morphed.
Welcome aboard!
