Roaches are a superb staple diet if they are the approprate size. Lateralis is My roach of choice. I can not stand lobster roaches. Lateralis are a little bit smaller then Lobsters, they do not climb or stink like lobsters, they reproduce super fast. The best thing about them is they dont burrow or play dead they run around causing attention that drives the frogs crazy. The babies are very small and would work great for a frog that eats prey items the size of fruitflys and bean beetles. Now the babies are a little bit bigger then bean beetles.
