I never read about anyone in this section keeping Tarapotos. I still have plans on keeping at least one type of imitator morph but I still can't decide on one. For awhile I was set on Varaderos but every time I see a picture of a Nominal I want one.
There are some pictures of Tarapotos that I come across that show them with orange coloring and a rainbow iridescence on their back.
If any of you are keeping Tarapotos let me know what you think about them, especially if they require any special care that's different from Nominals or Varadero.
All the R. imitator morphs keep exactly the same. The Nominal/Tarapoto morph are really cool looking. I'm really fond of the "Banded" morph though. I think you'll be happy with whatever you get! There are some more unusual morphs and lines out there that look awesome and are fairly unique.
Cheers!
