The other night I came home and discovered that Lewis, my gray tree frog, had died. I had raised him from a tadpole last summer, so he was my baby. For a few days he had been very dark brown and a little more lethargic than normal, but he seemed to be eating fine, so I was surprised that it happened so fast. He had been in his new terrarium for about two months, and he seemed to be doing well in it, prior to last week. The soil was a bit on the moist side, so it could have been bacteria, I guess. I learned a lot from the little guy.
Sorry to hear about Lewis.![]()
