Sick frog!

Hi guys,

Ive just been to the pet shop and spotted a skinny looking frog asleep on the ground in the viv. Feeling sorry for it i brought it... Got it back and noticed it cannot walk properly, is extremely underweight and almost flips over when tries to jump...
Its almost as if it has no energy to use its limbs.

Wondering if any of you have seen this before or know what it could be?

I have contacted the shop and they are willing to take it back but I feel it could be helped?

I forgot to mention its a whites tree frog about 2 inches in length.

Sorry Paris; but do yourself a favor and return it back to store . Neurological symptoms you are describing can have permanent issues and with no background of the how the frog health went downhill, it's a guesswork on how to treat. Could be CA deficiency, Toxic Out Syndrome, or a mix of those two and even more. To add to bad news; you need to sterilize everything that frog came in contact with, before using it for another frog .

Apologize if I sound cold and detached; but we should try to buy from healthy stock and avoid sad emotions be a part of it. Sick frogs take a long time to recover, can introduce disastrous pathogens to collections, and cause costly veterinary bills .

I do a full quarantine period. I have currently had a frog in quarantine for 3 months as i am very VERY paranoid about this But thank you anyway.
