    Default CRITICAL froglet, please help

So the froglet that was sick and I thought passed this morning was moved into a small plastic container to be properly laid to rest somehow (frozen ground sucks in these moments), I found him in a different position altogether from what he had been placed in. And not just moved, but in a normal live position. So I opened the container (I honestly don't know if it was sealed tight or not, but now I have it cracked on the lid for oxygen sake), and I've sprayed water in there, just enough to coat the bottom but not submerge him AT ALL, and now I'm going to run out to get honey, because his poop that I did found was very undigested, and when I look at his belly from under the container, I can see black through the stomach, which I assume might be poop? He doesn't look bloated, and I didn't get any feedback to know what may be wrong, he did poop last night, but it was very undigested (so yes, I can definetly confirm he is sick). Also, right now he has his legs spread behind him, but his head is still up. Please, if anyone knows what I can do to help him, I'd really like to save him. Sorry if this is poorly written, I'm in a bit of a panic.

All the information for an emergency is on the included topic, and just to update the feedings, he managed to eat one cricket last night as well. He was fine (enough) 30 minutes before I had found him "drowned", he had been clinging to the side of the soaking dish, then 30 minutes later he was completely submerged. But if anyone has any suggestions to perk him up even, I'd appreciate it alot.

Maybe it hasn't come up yet, but I don't see an update to the last post from you. Also he just hopped out of the water in the plastic dish, and now his legs are behind him and crossed. This definitely does sound like something neurological. Also, here is a photo of him from before he jumped, showing the black spot at his rear which makes me think he is also trying to poop. I also think it may have gotten a bit bigger since this pic was taken.

Edit: Unless he comes back again like before, I think that hop was his last breath. Nevermind all this then I guess.

What kind of frog is this ? I can't tell for sure from the photo?

    Is is still alive?

    I'm confused - sorry

If he is still breathing ( look at his throat) to see if he is breathing. I have some suggstions

Make sure he does not go into water that is too deep!

The undigested "poop" could have been vomit?

    Is/was his enclosure well ventilated?

forget the honey ! get pedialyte ( plain ---not flavored) and distilled water from the supermarket
Therapeutic hydration for child dehydration - Pedialyte

instructions as to how to use it are here: (1:10 ---one part pedialyte : one part distilled water):
    -instruction for QT/hospital tank here:
    http://www.frogforum.net/general-dis...uarantine.html

set him into a container w/ very soggy paper towels ( using the pedi distilled water solution ) with air holes !!!

we could really use better photos

    Sorry for your troubles

He passed away shortly after the post. He had drowned, not dehydrated, so would pedi still have been an appropriate treatment to use? I had placed two drops of honey into the water and had been treating the container like a soaking dish, while keeping his chin above the water. I don't know what went wrong, but him trying to soak and drowning this morning did not help. Thanks for the condolences.
