Hello! I don't think I've posted here yet. I'm not new to frogs but I am somewhat new to these forums (I've stalked but never really chatted.)
I'm 25. Um, somewhat still a student but work more now. I'm really girly and into a lot of other stuff.
I live in the rainy state of Florida (rains more than US average where I am, ironically) about an hour or so from Orlando. I'm from the deep-deep-south but moved here about two years ago- and very glad I did! I've always been an animal enthusiast but favored amphibians and reptiles more-so than others. And I've learned that this is the place to be for it.
This is Novia, my female, young-adult Cuban Tree Frog. She's pretty much my main-small child since she's the only one willing to out with me (apparently I cramp everyone else' style..)
I found her earlier this year in August. She was on the handle to my car door.. at a PetCo.. and, if that isn't destiny, then I don't know what is. Here in Florida we're suppose to capture and kill these sweethearts but I couldn't do that. So, I kept her! She was smaller than my thumb.. and has grown to half the size of my hand since.
Her favorite hobbies are sitting on my laptop while I browse the interwebs (it's warm), or hanging out with me when I go buy her (and all of her brothers' and sisters') supplies at the pet stores. She's extremely docile and doesn't seem to be bothered by anything. Adores eating and has quite an appetite. I feed her superworms off my arm to entertain people that happen to wander over.
I'll post pics of my other guys when I get the chance but I'm doing some major renovation on their homes (getting heavily into vivariums!)
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to meet and befriend some cool peoples!

Hi. What a cute frog.
Hello and welcome to FF Anna!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Welcome to the forum.
And congrats on such a wonderful save.
I agree that it is wrong to kill these little ones but it is important to
get them out of FL in the wild.
I see no harm in keeping them captive.
I wish my wife was so prissy.
Welcome aboard!![]()
