Reverse Osmosis systems to be used for ( Mist King ) mister buck refills.

Any thoughts , brands, ideas?

-I am buying about 4-5 gallons of distilled water / week
-8 enclosures
-6 of which are drilled ( water misted in/ then automatically drains out and disposed of)
- 2 separate mist king set ups = 2 five gallon buckets
-19 mist valves

I was thinking about hooking-up something like this to my slop sink faucet ( near the enclosures )
Is this good enough?

That would work. Most ro/di systems get plumbed in the portable option is sweet. Buy a spare membrane if you can, that's the most important part of it. If you can't get replacement membranes for it, it's worthless

Do you think this will do the job ?
ie 5 gallons a week, assuming the replacements parts are readily available?

I would love to have some kind of quick disconnect from the mist buckets and bring the 5 gallon mist buckets TO the sink for the refill w the RO Or, just fill gallon containers / jugs ?

I might find myself gazing at 'home desperate' plumbing parts this weekend.
That's fun to look forward to....Ha! ?

5 gallons a week is a piece of cake for that system. It is spec'd out for 75 gallons per day. It looks like the output is nylon line, same stuff that is used for ice makers. If that is the case, then you can replace the equipped line with one from Home Depot. Put a valve on the end and you can turn the water and ro unit on, walk to your bucket, open the valve and fill. Close the valve and move to the next bucket. Easy peasy

You may even be able to plumb it in what we call parallel in the electrical world. Run one central line with "T" joints at each bucket and a valve. Turn the water on, then just open whichever valve you want to fill with. You can really go all out crazy, just depends how much $$$ you want to put into the system.

From when immersed in salt water hobby; remember that the capability to back-flush is good because it will allow to clean and extend the membranes life. Also, some units had built in pumps that think would make the system more efficient.
